The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) received the first 10 JEBATT F29 All Terrain Tactical Assault E-Bikes (ATEB) on August 19, 2026, beginning a wider deployment programme for the General Operations Force, known in Malaysia as Pasukan Gerakan Am (PGA).
The handover took place at Bukit Aman police headquarters in Kuala Lumpur. The motorcycles are intended to support patrol and border-security duties in areas including Perlis, Kedah, Kelantan, Perak, Sabah and Sarawak.
The JEBATT F29 is based on TAIMU’s F29 electric off-road platform and has been adapted through local cooperation for specialized operational requirements. Its all-terrain design and low-noise electric powertrain offer a practical mobility option for remote and difficult environments.
The programme is being carried out in two phases. The first phase covers 100 motorcycles, while the publicly announced second phase adds 275, bringing the overall programme to 375 units. The first 10 motorcycles were presented during the August handover.
The JEBATT F29 motorcycles are also scheduled to make a public appearance during Malaysia’s National Day activities on August 31, 2026.
For TAIMU, the programme demonstrates how an electric off-road platform can be adapted with local partners for professional and specialized applications.
